My parents instilled a love of travel in me as a child. My first big trip was at age 6 when our family went to Washington, D.C. and saw all the sights! We stopped in Virginia at the Luray Caverns and I remember being absolutely amazed at the stalactites and stalagmites. There were also beautiful pools of water down there where people had thrown coins and made wishes.Now I have traveled all over the world and even lived in Italy for a year (1974).
